Turning Social Media Product Enquiries into a Structured Furniture Catalog

Malik Group was already reaching customers through social media, but product enquiries depended on repeated manual explanations and photo sharing. We built a Laravel and Blade-based furniture catalog that gives customers a structured way to discover products, browse categories, filter the catalog, review product details and images, and then move directly to WhatsApp for a focused enquiry.

Context + Business Problem

The operational situation that made the project necessary.

The context and the problem are shown together so the reason for the build is immediately clear.

Before the website, Malik Group primarily presented furniture through videos on social media. When a customer became interested in a specific item, they asked about it in the comments, and the team continued the conversation manually by explaining the product and sending additional photos based on the item the customer had selected. This worked as a direct sales interaction, but product discovery and basic product information remained dependent on repeated one-to-one communication.

Problem

The challenge was not simply to put products online. Customers needed a way to explore a multi-category furniture catalog independently, understand available products, review images and visible pricing, and narrow their choices before contacting the business. At the same time, Malik Group needed to preserve the direct customer conversation that already worked for its sales process instead of forcing an unnecessary checkout flow.

Engineering Response

How the product and system response were structured.

The product experience and the technical response are treated as one connected delivery.

We structured the website around product discovery. Visitors can browse by room and category, see new arrivals, access the full catalog, filter by category, product name and price range, and open dedicated product pages with multiple images and relevant product information. Instead of replacing Malik Group’s existing direct-sales model, the website strengthens it: customers can understand and narrow their product choice first, then continue through a direct WhatsApp enquiry about the specific item that interests them.

Product Proof

Screens from the delivered product.

Real interface views that show how the public product was structured and shipped.

Outcome

What the solution is designed to make possible.

Operational value and public proof appear together, without stretching beyond what the record supports.

  • Product discovery is now available through one structured branded catalog rather than depending only on individual social-media posts.
  • Customers can browse categories and narrow products before starting a direct conversation.
  • Product pages provide images and relevant context before the customer contacts the business.
  • The catalog creates a clear path from social-media interest to website discovery and then to a focused WhatsApp enquiry.
  • The existing direct-sales relationship is preserved while the repetitive product-discovery step is moved into a self-service digital experience.
  • New arrivals can be highlighted while the complete catalog remains accessible.

Evidence

  • Live production website: https://malik.hexaterminal.com/
  • Project-owner-confirmed pre-site workflow: social-media furniture videos → customer comments/enquiries → manual product explanation and photo sharing.
  • Captured public interface evidence: homepage, room/category browsing, full catalog, filtering, category listing, product-detail pages, multi-image galleries, and WhatsApp enquiry actions.
  • Confirmed implementation stack: Laravel + Blade.
